Untitled

Dotted stars shimmer in cosmic dance
Orion’s belt blazing, his bronze tipped lance
Made up of distant suns, so long diminished
That once fed systems, their cycles finished

Speeding white light set forth in bold travel
As supernova stars mass does unravel
It begs the question, when OUR light is seen
Will someone be watching what has already been?
